Michael Reichmann is well known through his Luminous Landscape website. He also produces a regular dvd magazine. In his latest issue (Volume 4, Issue 13) he continues a discussion of his workflow.

Raw Converter
This is the place to do color balance, levels, contrast, saturation and contrast.

In Photoshop
- Crop - doing this first eliminates the extraneous from subsequent corrections.
- Local Contrast Enhancement
- uses Unsharp Mask for contrast enhancement.
- Mask - 20; Radius - 50; Threshhold - 0
- flip on and off to see if it enhances.
- Dust Removal
- Clone Tool - size the brush, select nearby "good" area, click to fix.
- Bandaid - uses primarily for skin blemishes.
- Sharpening
- Disparages Unsharp Mask

- Three stage sharpening

- Makes up for lack of edge sharpness in digital images.
